IAM Solution Architect

+ Site based role in South West

+ £680 to £720 per day - Inside IR35

+ Requires DV Clearance

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a greenfield Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform within a highly secure environment. This is a key role where you'll shape a modern Microsoft-based identity solution, working closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and implementation of a new on-premise IAM platform.

Design secure identity solutions using Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, and ADFS.

Deliver Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions.

Define architecture standards, technical governance, and best practices.

Produce HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery.

Essential Skills

Proven experience as a Solution or Technical Architect delivering Microsoft identity solutions.

Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Windows Server 2022, and enterprise IAM.

Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, and RBAC.

Good understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working within Defence or other highly secure environments.

Desirable

Microsoft Identity or Solutions Architect certifications.

Hybrid identity and PowerShell automation experience.

Security Requirements

Applicants must hold active UKSV DV clearance and be sole British nationals with a valid UK passport.
