Job Description

Salary: £37,811.96 plus bonus. OTE = £44,068.15 (pay review pending)

Occasional overtime at £18.14ph and £24.18ph

Hours: 4 on 2 off shift pattern, 07:45 - 17:30 (Winter) / 18:30 (select days in Summer)

Base Location: Huyton Transfer Station, Huyton, Merseyside, L36 6BN but will also work out of Bidston and Gillmoss.

This is a fixed term role for up to 6 months

What will you be doing?

Drive and operate rigid and when required articulated vehicles (subject to appropriate licence category) to transport waste and recycling materials

Undertake daily pre and post operation vehicle checks

Report service, safety and environmental issues

Participate in Tool Box Talks and engage with issued communications

Complete paper and digital records of work activity

What are we looking for?

HGV Cat C licence

Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card

Good IT skills to record data

HGV CE Licence desirable
