SEN Learning Support Assistant - (Girls only school - Autism) needed!We are partnered with a unique special educational needs (SEN) school located in the North Cambridge area that specialise in girls with traits of autism and mild learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. Starting from September 2026, we are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their fantastic team to support the students at this highly thought of school.The School:• A highly regarded and well established SEN school• Cater for girls of primary and secondary age• Pupils have a diagnosis of autism or are showing traits of autism• Provide a wealth of resources for both pupils and staff• Is easily accessible by public transport• Offer first class specific training to all staff• Are welcoming and supportive with new staff• Have been working with REED Education for many years The Role (SEN Learning Support Assistant):• Temporary to permanent• Supporting pupils on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis• Promoting progress in pupils academic ability as well as social and emotional well-being• Assisting with off-site activities / school trips• Motivate and encourage pupils as required• Full time hours (school term time + training days_ • Competitive hourly rates of pay • Highly rewarding position where you can have a direct impact on a child's lifeWhat you will need:• Previous experience working within education • Good communication skills• To be enthusiastic and creative • Able to work well as part of a team• Confident supporting children on a 1-2-1 and small group basis• Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this for you)
