Location: South Manchester Sharston, Wythenshawe & Manchester Airport Area
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing Agency Work
Shift Pattern: Days
Start Times: Typically between 3:00am and 7:00am

• £16.00 £17.00 per hour PAYE
• Holiday pay accrued in addition to hourly rate

About the Role

Immediate opportunities are available for experienced Class 1 Drivers (C+E) looking for ongoing work across South Manchester, including Sharston, Wythenshawe and the Manchester Airport area.

We are recruiting professional Class 1 Drivers for a variety of transport contracts, offering regular work across general haulage, pallet deliveries, trailer swaps, bulk deliveries and multi-drop assignments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Class 1 Driver who enjoys varied driving work, regular assignments and the chance to work with well-established transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

Completing next-day general haulage deliveries.

Carrying out pallet deliveries and collections.

Completing trailer swaps.

Delivering bulk loads safely and efficiently.

Completing multi-drop deliveries where required.

Operating Class 1 (C+E) curtain-sided trailers.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts.

Completing delivery paperwork accurately.

Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism.

Following Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and all road transport regulations.

Requirements

We're looking for reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers who take pride in their work, deliver excellent customer service and understand the importance of transport compliance.

To be considered, you'll need:

• A full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Licence held for a minimum of 6 12 months.
• Minimum 6 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements.
• No convictions resulting in a driving ban or disqualification.
• A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
• A reliable, flexible and safety-conscious approach to work.
