Location: Swinbrook, Oxfordshire (OX18)
Job Type: Self-Employed Contractor
Duration: Approx. 3/4 Days (depending on drying times)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance reinstatement contractor for an experienced Painter & Decorator to complete a high-quality reinstatement project at a residential property in Swinbrook, Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson experienced in insurance repair and reinstatement works, with further opportunities available for the right contractor.

Scope of Works

The successful contractor will be responsible for:

• Carrying out pre-start condition checks and taking site photographs.
• Protecting all floors, fixtures and surrounding areas.
• Checking surfaces for moisture and reporting any issues before commencing work.
• Preparing ceilings and walls, including sanding, filling and stain-blocking.
• Removing and replacing an internal timber window sill.
• Preparing and decorating:
• Walls (Dulux Trade Gardenia)
• Ceiling (Dulux Trade White)
• Affected woodwork (White Satin)
• Ensuring a high-quality finish throughout.
• Cleaning the work area and providing completion photographs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in painting and decorating.
• Experience with insurance reinstatement or domestic refurbishment work preferred.
• Own tools, transport and PPE.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce a quality finish.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
• Must be able to provide photographic progress updates.
