Hatched Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner on behalf of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner to join the Operational Services Team carrying out maintenance and new works across the council area.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a range of joinery works, including general maintenance, repairs and installation tasks across council properties and facilities.

Key Duties Include:

• Carrying out joinery maintenance and repair works
• Completing new joinery works as required
• Working across various council sites within the Lisburn & Castlereagh area
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Following health and safety procedures and safe working practices
• Supporting the wider Operational Services Team with other duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Joiner
• Strong knowledge of joinery maintenance and repair works
• Ability to complete tasks independently and to a high standard
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely within a team environment

Contract Details:

Location: Unit 5 Blaris Industrial Estate, Altona Road, Lisburn

Start Date: 10th August 2026

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay Rate: 15.31 per hour
