Job Title: Complex Children's Support Worker

Location: Liskeard / Saltash, Cornwall

Pay: £14.00 to £20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay plus Holiday Pay)

When a young person enters a crisis placement, their immediate environment becomes highly unpredictable. They do not need a supervisor watching the clock; they require a calm, steady anchor to bring safety and routine back into their day.

We are searching for emotionally resilient care specialists to join our intensive response team across the Liskeard and Saltash areas. You will be stepping into high pressure environments, identifying the trauma behind complex behaviours, and building meaningful trust.

This position is an excellent fit for applicants who have previously worked as a Youth Worker, Support Worker, Therapeutic Support Worker, Family Support Worker, Residential Childcare Worker, or Youth Mentor.

• Build Trust: Form strong connections with vulnerable youth using creative, trauma informed care methods.
• Provide Safety: Utilise your professional de escalation skills to manage physical aggression or self harm with complete composure.
• Be the Advocate: Produce highly accurate daily reports that directly influence long term therapeutic support plans.

• Background: At least 6 months of paid care experience within a UK residential, youth, or complex care setting.
• Mindset: A patient, non judgemental, and highly structured approach to managing volatile behaviours.
• Driver: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to support young people with community integration.
