Job Title: Site Manager – Groundworks & Civils

Location: North East Lincolnshire (Grimsby Area)

Rate: Negotiable (DOE) – Outside IR35

Site Manager – Groundworks & Civils – Immediate Start – Grimsby

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a large, well-established groundworks and civils contractor on an industrial development in the Grimsby area.

This role will be overseeing the groundworks and civils package across three industrial units, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate will be joining a contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish a long-term relationship with a busy business.

The Role

Working closely with the project team, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site. You'll ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating subcontractors and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy groundworks and civils project.

*

Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

*

Carry out quality inspections and ensure works are completed to specification.

*

Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across site.

*

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.

*

Coordinate project activities to ensure programme deadlines are achieved.

*

Liaise with the client, engineers and senior management throughout the project.

*

Review and manage RAMS, permits and site documentation.

*

Identify and resolve site issues while maintaining quality and productivity.

Requirements

*

Experience delivering industrial groundworks and infrastructure projects.

*

Ability to undertake Important responsibilities, including quality assurance, health & safety management and subcontractor coordination.

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

*

SMSTS – Essential.

*

CSCS Card – Essential.

*

First Aid at Work.

*

Additional relevant qualifications and tickets are advantageous.
