Our client, operating within the highways sector, is seeking a competent Site Engineer for a contract position in Brize Norton. This role focuses on setting out and supervising surfacing works, necessitating specific skills and clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for highway engineering projects

Overseeing all stages of the surfacing works

Ensuring compliance with site standards and project specifications

Maintaining clear and accurate site records and documentation

Providing technical support and guidance to site personnel

Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards

Liaising with contractors, sub-contractors, and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Experience in site engineering, particularly within highways or surfacing projects

Strong technical understanding of setting out and surveying techniques

Familiarity with site engineering standards and practices

Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to interpret project plans and specifications

BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance required
