Ride-On Mower Operatives

£15.50 per hour

Location: Hammersmith, London

35 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Our horticultural client provides a full range of grounds maintenance services to the public and private sector. They are looking for Ride-On Mower Operatives who hold a full, manual driving licence and who have experience.

Working alongside colleagues, you will help deliver grounds maintenance services to residential areas and public parks. Previous experience is essential. This is a full time job which begins on a temporary contract but will lead to securing a permanent one for the right people.

• To undertake the full range of grounds maintenance duties as instructed by your line manager as follows: grass cutting, watering of trees, shrubs, and bedding plants. Hedge cutting, strimming, edge reformation. Litter picking and weed control.
• To work as part of a team with the aim of ensuring productive and professional relationships within your team, with other employees, managers, clients, and the general public.
• Ensure hand/power tools and grounds maintenance equipment, machinery and vehicles in your charge are secure, in good working order, carry out routine maintenance and refer mechanical problems to your line manager.
• Comply with all company and site procedures and regulations.
• Ensure an efficient and effective response to incidents/emergencies and maintain effective liaison with colleagues and external services.
• Ensure you observe safety procedures and use safe working practices.
