• Field HSE Lead
• 15 Month Contract (or until the end of the project)
• Based near Teesside
• Outside IR35
• Negotiable Day Rate - DOE
• Day Shifts / 5 Days Per Week

Ceto Talent are supporting a well-known Energy EPC Contractor delivering a major Carbon Capture project in Teesside.

Our client is responsible for pipeline installation and associated construction activities as the project moves through its final execution phase.

This is a key site leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a visible part in a high-profile energy transition project.

The Role:
As Field HSE Lead on site, you will manage a team of 3-4 HSE Advisors/1 PTW and report to the Project HSE Manager. Your role will be to implement site HSE management systems in line with Company, IOGP and ISO standards, including subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement site HSE management systems
• Act as HSE focal point and manage all site HSE matters
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and UK legislation
• Develop and lead the field HSE team
• Provide HSE advice and support to site and project management
• Coordinate with the environmental team onsite
• Lead accident and incident investigations
• Establish and manage HSE monitoring and audit programmes
• Lead risk management processes (HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, etc.)
• Interface with clients, subcontractors and authorities
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans

Requirements to be considered:

• Must have significant HSE leadership experience on similar oil & gas, energy, nuclear construction projects.
• Must have both Offshore and Onshore Project experience.
• Must have experience working for a major Oil & Gas Operator/or alongside on previous projects.
• Must have worked previously for an IMCA-approved contractor
• Lead Auditor 45001 Certification
• NEBOSH Diploma or similar
