Behaviour Mentor - South East London - September Start - Full Time - 110- 130 per day

We are currently recruiting for a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school based in South East London for a September start.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The school is looking for a strong role model who can build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour, and help pupils re-engage with education.

The role would suit someone with experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, residential support, SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision settings.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, challenging behaviour, and emotional regulation needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to improve confidence, engagement, and behaviour
• Helping students stay focused and involved in lessons
• Supporting behaviour management using calm and consistent strategies
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Supporting pupils during transitions, break times, and structured activities
• Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience supporting young people with behaviour or SEMH needs
• Be confident, calm, and resilient in challenging situations
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Be able to act as a positive role model
• Have a genuine passion for helping vulnerable pupils succeed
• Be reliable, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
