Freelance Project Manager - East Midlands
Contract: Freelance
Engagement: CIS
Rate: £400-£500 per day
Duration: Approximately five months
Start: Late summer
I'm recruiting for an experienced freelance construction professional to support a major highways and infrastructure programme in the East Midlands.
The role will be predominantly office-based and will involve overseeing multiple workstreams, coordinating delivery programmes, and supporting the successful completion of safety-critical infrastructure works.
The ideal candidate will have:
A valid SMSTS qualification
Previous experience delivering projects for Principal Contractors
Strong project and programme management experience
A background in highways, civil engineering, or infrastructure works
Experience managing replacement, maintenance, or upgrade programmes
The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders
