We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction contractor on a contract basis, overseeing the delivery of a six-storey hotel project in Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing projects from site through to completion, ensuring programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of a six-storey construction project.
• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Liaise with the client, consultants and stakeholders.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Drive quality standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on multi-storey construction projects.
• Strong background working for a main contractor.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage programme, quality and commercial performance.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid preferred.
• Immediate availability or available at short notice.
