4 months contract with Local government
Job Summary:
· Provide the strategic and operational leadership to achieve excellence in the delivery of repairs service for residents, ensure that resources are delivering value for money outcomes.
Key Duties (Sample):
· Support the review of a new repairs organisational structure and operating model
· Provide effective leadership to ensure that the procurement, quality and performance of contractors is at the highest standard for our residents
· Meaningfully engage with residents to improve services, reduce costs and develop neighbourhoods where people enjoy and want to live
· Create a culture of performance and budget management where there is a direct link between costs, excellent services and right first time repairs
· Drive down the costs and increase satisfaction in the services provided
· Lead on the streamlining of business processes and systems across the repairs service, including digital to drive efficiencies in service delivery to residents
· Meet the diverse needs of the residents and staff and promote equality in the workplace and wider community
· Delivering Business Plan objectives
· Promotion of the organisational change culture
· To innovate and keep abreast of new service delivery opportunities using strong knowledge and information relating to customer insight
· Participate and report on the Out of Hours service for repairs
Essential Experience Required:
· Proven experience of leading a property-based customer-facing service
· A strong commitment to customer service and overall service excellence. Able to evidence experience of managing a service that is highly regarded by its customers and stakeholders
· Excellent communication skills with an ability to bring clarity at all times and articulate a clear narrative for the organisation to a range of audiences
· Able to evidence building successful relationships with a range of stakeholders
· Experience of managing successful business change and managing the delivery through others
