Our client, a council authority in London's Public Sector, is currently seeking a Parking Design/CAD Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in parking and design to work in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

• Providing technical support in the design and implementation of parking schemes
• Utilising AutoCAD to produce detailed parking designs and layouts
• Conducting on-site surveys to gather necessary data for design purposes
• Collaborating with other engineering and planning teams to ensure project success
• Supporting the council in achieving efficient and effective parking solutions
• Participating in project meetings and providing expertise in parking design
• Ensuring all designs meet local regulations and standards
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and records

• Good experience in AutoCAD, particularly in the context of parking design
• Solid understanding of parking engineering principles and practices
• Ability to conduct on-site surveys and collect relevant data
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Must have a vehicle and be within a 90-minute commute from the council
• Experience in the Highways sector preferred
