Class Teacher | Havering | MPS / UPS | September 2026 Start | Permanent Role

Reeson Education is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Class Teacher with a KS2 focus to join a supportive primary school in Havering from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Class Teacher who is eager to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic Key Stage 2 team.

The school is located in Havering, with good access from Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham, and prides itself on creating a supportive environment where both pupils and staff can thrive. The successful Class Teacher will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Role Overview - Class Teacher

The Class Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, supporting pupils academically while encouraging curiosity, resilience and confidence in their learning. The Class Teacher will work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.

Responsibilities of the Class Teacher

Planning and delivering high-quality Key Stage 2 lessons

Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching where necessary

Creating an engaging and structured classroom environment

Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership

Supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development

Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Requirements for the Class Teacher

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or strong curriculum knowledge

Ability to plan engaging lessons and manage a classroom effectively

Passion for supporting pupils as a committed Class Teacher

Strong communication and teamwork skills
