SEN Teaching Assistants

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with experience supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants with personal care experience to join a warm, welcoming SEN school in the Braintree area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people while working within a supportive and rewarding environment.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, learning difficulties, and complex needs
Assist with personal care tasks (when necessary)
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging their independence and development

Requirements:

Previous experience working in an SEN setting or with children/adults with additional needs
Confidence and experience with personal care (e.g. toileting, feeding, hygiene support)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
