Location: Redditch

Pay Rate: Starting at £12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.98 per hour once fully trained and signed off on machinery.

Days:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Lates:

Monday to Thursday: 3:45pm – 2:00am

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established chemical manufacturing company based in Redditch. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within manufacturing, with the chance to progress into a Machine Operative role through full training provided on site.

You will begin supporting production and packing operations, learning the processes and environment, before being trained on machinery and increasing your pay rate once signed off.

Applicants must be comfortable working within a chemical manufacturing environment and committed to following strict health, safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Packing finished products at the end of the production line

Bottling products in line with production requirements

Accurately labelling products to specification

Assisting with general production and manufacturing duties

Training to operate machinery safely and efficiently

Following all health, safety and COSHH procedures

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Person Specification

Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred

Interest in progressing into a Machine Operative role

Willingness to work in a chemical manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
