Head of Chemistry Ealing

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Chemistry for a secondary school in Ealing, starting September 2026. The school has a supportive and collaborative Science department and is looking for a leader with strong subject knowledge who can inspire both students and staff.
Contract Details

• Location: Ealing, London
• Position: Head of Chemistry
• Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Start Date: September 2026
• Hours: 8:00 am 4:00 pm, plus parents evenings

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Significant teaching experience in Chemistry within the UK
• Leadership or departmental management experience preferred
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this role through Prospero Teaching, candidates must:

Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
