Kerb Layer - Water Orton - £18.90 per hour PAYE

VGC Group are looking for experienced Kerb Layers to start on a project in Water Orton. This contract is available to start ASAP and we can offer up to 3 years worth of work.

Role: Kerb Layer

Location: Water Orton

Salary: £18.90 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30

Contract: Contract Type

Experience: 2 years +

Qualifications: Blue CSCS NVQ Lvl 2 (Groundworks/Kerb Layer), CPCS Plant Ticket desirable.

Kerb Layer Experience

Your role as a Kerb Layer will be based in Water Orton and will consist of:

- Full understanding of duties required for kerbing and groundwork activities

- Prepare ground surfaces including excavation, levelling, and compaction

- Install kerbs, edgings, and channels in line with project specifications

- Lay concrete foundations and bedding materials

- Ensure kerbs are aligned, levelled, and finished to required tolerances

- Ability to work from drawings and site instructions

- Use of hand tools, small plant, and cutting equipment

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the construction site

Based in Water Orton, remuneration for this role is £18.90. You will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
