Graduate Teacher Training Apprenticeships - Maths & Science Graduates

Are you a recent Maths or Science graduate with experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with young people? Have you taught or supported students in an educational setting?

This is an excellent opportunity to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a Teacher Training Apprenticeship starting in the new academic year - allowing you to earn while you train.

A successful and supportive secondary school in Manchester is looking to recruit several trainee teachers to join their team. The school has a strong reputation for developing graduates into successful educators and provides high-quality mentoring and professional development throughout the programme.

About the Role

* Interviews taking place next week (week commencing 18th May)

* Full-time, term-time position (5 days per week)

* One day per week dedicated to university-led training

* Deliver lessons within your subject specialism

* Work alongside experienced teachers and supportive senior leaders

* Receive excellent mentoring from both the school and training provider

* Competitive salary ranging from £25,000-£28,000 depending on experience

Person Specification

* UK Degree in Maths or Science

* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for education

* Previous tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or classroom experience desirable

* GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (certificates required)

* Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years

* Full right to work in the UK is essential (visa sponsorship is not available)
