Site Engineer

Right now, I'm looking for a Site Engineer to start in ASAP for a role based in Essex. The project is a £50m new build and is currently in the ground.

As a Site Engineer, you'll be the technical backbone on-site, ensuring that construction and engineering projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll work closely with a project manager, sub-contractors, and design teams to bring blueprints to life.

Requirements for the Site Engineer:

SMSTS

CSCS

First aid (is a bonus)

Knowledge of steel frame

Main contractor experienceResponsibilities:

Carry out setting out, surveying and dimensional control for site works

Interpret and work from drawings, specifications and construction information

Support day‑to‑day engineering activities on site

Assist with planning and coordinating works to meet programme deadlines

Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors and the wider project team

Ensure works comply with quality standards, specifications and tolerances

Maintain accurate site records, as‑built information and site diaries

Arrange and monitor material testing and calibration of equipment

Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance

Support the site management team with additional duties as requiredWhat is being offered
