Repairs Supervisor - Social Housing

South London

Temp to Perm Contract

£27 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join a leading social housing contractor covering South London on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused supervisor with a strong background in responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance within occupied properties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance operations across social housing properties

Manage and support a team of operatives and subcontractors

Carry out pre and post inspections to ensure quality and compliance

Ensure all works are completed within agreed KPIs and SLAs

Monitor productivity, performance, and health & safety standards

Liaise with tenants, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues effectively

Ensure materials, resources, and labour are allocated efficiently

Update and maintain accurate records using PDA systems and scheduling software

Support the delivery of excellent customer satisfaction across all contracts

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing or property maintenance

Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and voids

Experience managing operatives and subcontractors

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively

Full UK driving licence

SSSTS/SMSTS preferred

Good understanding of health & safety regulations
