Role Overview:
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Bolton

Start Date: Sept 2026
Contract Type: Full Time
Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
Rate of Pay: 100 - 110 per day

The school supports pupils of all abilities and offers opportunities to assist in lessons, encourage independent learning, and help students thrive academically and socially.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with teenagers, building positive relationships, and supporting a variety of learning needs in a mainstream classroom environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students in classroom lessons on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
  Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
  Help students with SEN or additional learning needs as required.
  Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.
  Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  Interest in supporting students' academic and personal development.
  Experience in a secondary school setting is beneficial but not essential.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
  Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply
  Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
