Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Wisbech Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity Weekly PAYE 93- 120 daily

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established primary school in Wisbech to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Years 3-6. This is a long-term, full-time position, ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching or experienced Level 2 TAs looking to take the next step in their career.

Your Role in School

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide focused academic support, helping pupils strengthen core skills and build confidence in preparation for upper KS2 assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 academic support
• Supporting class teacher with SATS Preparation
• Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Supporting pupil engagement and positive behaviour
• Contributing to pupil progress tracking and feedback

The Ideal Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Candidate Will Have:

• A Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or 3, or a related degree in a relevant field
• Previous experience supporting primary-aged pupils (5-11 years old)
• Experience working with children with SEN and supporting EHCP requirements
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to break down learning clearly
• Dependable, flexible, and professional in approach to work
