Site Engineer - RC Frame

Location: Bedfordshire

Contract Type: Contract

Rate: £290 - £350 per day DOE

Our client is delivering a major new-build education project in Bedfordshire and is seeking an experienced Site Engineer with strong RC Frame experience to support the successful delivery of the project.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term scheme involving reinforced concrete frame construction, groundwork packages, and associated structural works on a high-profile education development.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of the RC Frame and structural elements of the project, ensuring works are carried out safely, accurately, and in line with design specifications. You will act as the link between design teams, site management, and subcontractors, supporting the day-to-day engineering and technical requirements on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Setting Out & Surveying - Carry out precise setting out for RC frame, foundations, slabs, columns, and associated structural works.

- Technical Support - Interpret and communicate drawings, specifications, and technical details to site teams and subcontractors.

- Quality Assurance - Ensure all reinforced concrete works and materials meet project specifications and industry standards.

- Progress Monitoring - Produce site reports, monitor progress against programme, and resolve technical issues on site.

- Health & Safety Compliance - Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project.

- Coordination & Site Management - Liaise with subcontractors, site managers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and programme adherence.

Essential Requirements

Candidates must hold the following:

- CSCS Card

- Experience working on RC Frame projects

- Strong setting out and surveying experience

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Additional tickets and qualifications would be advantageous.
