A warm and well-organised Secondary school located in the borough of Ealing is seeking a History Teacher to join their team Asap. The school are open to ECTs or teachers with more experience.

The Role

The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated History Teacher with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and develop a love for History.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
• Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting them in achieving their academic potential.
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Humanities.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.
