Supply Cover Supervisor (Secondary) - Northampton

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Supply Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school in Northampton. This flexible role offers the chance to support students in their learning, ensuring that lessons run smoothly during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the lesson plans provided.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Provide assistance to students where needed and ensure the continuity of their learning.
• Communicate with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition back to regular classroom routines.
• Uphold the school's safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school environment (as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar) is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
• Adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement lesson plans effectively.
• Available for a minimum of 3 days per week.
