Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistant

Position: Teaching Assistant with some in class SEN Support.
Location: East Dulwich, Southwark
Start Date: Sept 2026 - July 2027
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term. Hours - 8.30am- 3.45pm

Salary: 95 - 107.10 per day (PAYE - no umbrella fee's)

About the School: SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a 2 form entry mainstream primary school in the East Dulwich, Southwark area. You'll be working in a Year 3 class as a general TA, as well as supporting students with additional needs. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and has a supportive environment tailored to the needs of all students.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students.
• Monitor and record the progress of students, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.
• Utilize specialized strategies and interventions to support students' learning and development.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Proven experience working with children with mild needs in a mainstream setting
• Good knowledge of SEN best practices and interventions.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping all students to achieve their greatest potential
