Teaching Assistant

Location: Lambeth, South London

Reeson Education are supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Lambeth, South London who require an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be a Teaching Assistant with prior secondary school experience, or a graduate looking to pursue a career as a qualified teacher in the future.

The role of the Teaching Assistant is to support students with moderate learning difficulties and encourage learning across a variety of subjects and year groups.

The successful candidate will:

Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with students' learning

Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support students to achieve learning goals

Assist with the planning of learning activities
