Music Cover Supervisor – Immediate Start | Long-Term Opportunity

Smile Education are proud to be supporting a thriving secondary school in the Handsworth area with the recruitment of a Music Cover Supervisor for an immediate start. The Role:

As a Music Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning by delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students in their development and engagement within Music and wider lessons where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-set lesson plans across Music and additional subjects where required

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning

Supporting students to complete class activities and tasks

Creating a positive and encouraging learning environment

Assisting with general classroom duties and school expectations

Building positive relationships with students and staffThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A passion for Music and education

Experience working with young people, schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, performing arts or similar settings (desirable)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confidence leading groups of students

A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach

A Music-related qualification or background would be advantageous but is not essentialWhy Apply?
