Job Title: Electrical Fitter
Job Location: Kings Heath Depot, Northampton
Shifts: Monday-Friday Days
Hourly Rate: 22.19 PAYE / Pre 12 weeks 28.31 Umbrella / Post 12 weeks 29.83 Umbrella
Hours Per Week: 50
Start Date: ASAP

Working for a leading global provider of mobility solutions for urban interurban, and freight transportation sectors.

Position Summary:
Working at a newly refurbished depot in Northampton working on large-scale overhaul projects, you will be working with a team of Fitters focussed on refitting the interior of train carriages to modernise the fleet. Responsibilities will include:
Electrical installation of train systems including Lighting, CCTV, USB and led lights
Fitment of PIS (Passenger Information Systems)
Read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams and modification instructions
Test and route electrical wiring and components
Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot faults
Document all work completed including test results, materials used and any deviations from planned work

Person Profile:
Experience in Electrical installations of systems such as lighting, CCTV, visual display etc.
NVQ Level 3 within an relevant electrical discipline
Ideally you will have electrical experience on vehicles though this is not a requirement
