TeacherActive are excited to be working with secondary schools in Teignmouth and the surronding areas who are on the lookout for confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to support them on a flexible supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and want to gain valuable classroom experience in local schools.

Whether you re an experienced Cover Supervisor, a graduate considering teaching, or someone with strong behaviour management and experience working with young people, this could be the perfect next step.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of secondary subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour and keep students engaged in learning
• Support pupils in line with school behaviour policies
• Gain experience across different schools, year groups and subject areas
• Build confidence and develop your education career

• Experience working with young people (school, coaching, youth work or similar)
• Strong behaviour management and confidence leading a classroom
• A positive, adaptable and proactive attitude
• The ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
