Team Manager - Family Safeguarding

Contract Hybrid

Connect2Socialwork are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to lead a Family Safeguarding Team in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role focused on delivering high-quality, child-centred services and driving positive outcomes for families.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary Family Safeguarding Team
• Drive high standards of practice, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Provide supervision, guidance and professional challenge to staff
• Promote strengths-based, relationship-led practice
• Oversee performance, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and support families

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Proven experience within Family Safeguarding / Children's Services
• Strong leadership experience at Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager level
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice
• Ability to manage performance, staff development and complex caseload oversight
