CNC Miller (Fanuc Controls)

Location: Fife,

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (Temp-to-Perm) (Working 2 Shift Rotation)

Salary: 19PH not including shift allowance for back shift

Our client is a well-established aerospace engineering manufacturer based in Fife. Known for

precision engineering and high-quality standards, they are expanding their machining team

and seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join them on a temp-to-perm basis.

What you will be doing?

Set, operate, and program CNC milling machines (Fanuc Controls).

Produce precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.

Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Carry out quality checks using measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, CMM if

applicable).

Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters as needed.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Work collaboratively with the engineering and quality teams.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Miller (minimum 2 years preferred).

Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems.

Experience in aerospace, precision engineering, or similar high-tolerance

environments.

Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight specifications.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (desirable but not essential).
