KS1 Teaching Assistant - Romiley, Stockport

Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity Immediate Start Available

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Romiley area of Stockport.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils within Key Stage 1 and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, deliver interventions, and help pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and parents where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Previous classroom experience within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 1
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
