Senior Civil Engineer (Contract)

💰 Competitive Day Rate

📅 8-Week Initial Contract

⏱️ 20 or 40 Hours Per Week Available

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale residential development on a fully remote basis.

This role is ideally suited to a contractor with a strong background in drainage and infrastructure design who can hit the ground running and work independently within a remote team environment.

The Role

The initial assignment will focus on the design of surface water and foul water drainage networks for a major residential scheme. You will be responsible for producing detailed drainage designs, calculations and technical outputs, with the potential to assist with associated engineering drawings and supporting infrastructure designs.

Key Responsibilities

Surface water drainage design

Foul water drainage design

Hydraulic modelling using Causeway Flow

Production of drainage calculations and technical reports

Preparation of drainage drawings and design packages

Coordination with project stakeholders and design teams

Potential involvement in roads and infrastructure design

Requirements

Proven experience in drainage and infrastructure design

Strong working knowledge of Causeway Flow

Experience delivering residential development projects

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Strong communication skills and experience working remotely

Access to your own laptop is essential

Access to your own design software is preferred
