Mechanical Machine Operative

Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Machine Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in the Poole area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating or manufacturing experience looking for a long-term role within a well-established business.

Duties for Mechanical Machine Operative will include:

Operating and monitoring mechanical machinery
Loading raw materials and components into machines
Carrying out quality inspections on finished products
Following engineering drawings and work instructions
Completing production paperwork accurately
Adjusting machine settings where required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Reporting any faults or issues to supervisors

The ideal candidate foe the Mechanical Machine Operative will have:

Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read and follow technical instructions
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using hand tools would be advantageous
