Our client, a leading organisation within the buildings sector, is seeking a Registered Building Inspector Class 2D to engage in a contract role focused on building control.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards

Interpreting and applying relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines related to building control

Assessing building plans and specifications to ensure they meet required standards

Providing advice and guidance to developers, architects, and contractors on building control matters

Preparing detailed reports and documentation following site visits

Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout construction phases

Collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders to resolve any compliance issues

Maintaining accurate records and updating systems in line with organisational policies

Job Requirements:

Experience in building control and inspection

In depth knowledge of building regulations and applicable legislation

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in preparing and reviewing technical reports

A relevant qualification in building surveying or a related discipline

Registered Building Inspector Class 2D certification is essential

Ability to work independently and manage multiple site inspections effectively
