Stock Controller

Chesterfield Area

£13 per hour + Overtime

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Stock Controller to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering business in the Chesterfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with stock control, warehouse, goods in/out or forklift experience who is looking for a long-term role within a busy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing stock levels and maintaining inventory accuracy

• Booking goods in and processing dispatch requirements

• Loading, unloading and moving stock safely around site

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT equipment

• Carrying out stock checks and investigating discrepancies

• Maintaining accurate stock records and system updates

• Handling a variety of industrial products and heavy materials

• Supporting warehouse, production and operational teams as required

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous stock control, warehouse or inventory experience

• Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Licence preferred

• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments

• Comfortable handling heavier materials and products

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious approach
