PE Cover Supervisor wanted for a Long-Term Role (Temp to Perm Opportunity) based in Cardiff.

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a PE Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Cardiff for a long-term role starting immediately, with the potential to go temp to perm for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport and education, looking to secure a consistent role within a school setting. The role offers a mixed timetable of PE delivery and general classroom cover, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.

The Role

Long-term position within a supportive secondary school in Cardiff

Opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate

A varied timetable including PE lessons and general cover across multiple subjects

Deliver pre-set PE lessons and supervise practical sessions safely

Provide general classroom cover when required across different departments

Maintain a structured, positive and well-managed classroom environment

Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to ensure consistency and engagement

Key Skills & Experience

Strong behaviour management is essential

Confident working across a mixed timetable (PE + general cover)

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (school-based or similar setting)

Comfortable leading practical PE sessions as well as classroom-based learning

Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing daily requirements

A committed and reliable individual looking for a long-term opportunity

A genuine passion for supporting young people both academically and pastorally
