Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Leyland?

Tradewind are working with a welcoming Primary School in Leyland who are looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
