This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive impact in education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the primary age range, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children through play-based learning activities.
• Assisting with phonics, early reading, writing, and number development.
• Encouraging social, emotional, and communication skills.

• Supporting pupils in lessons across English, Maths, and the wider curriculum.
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.

• Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Building positive relationships to support engagement and progress.
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement learning strategies.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confidence engaging and motivating groups of children.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and adaptability.
• The ability to build positive relationships quickly.
• Experience thinking on your feet and working collaboratively.
