I am working with a Primary School in Selly Oak, B29 which is welcoming and inclusive. It has a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, a nurturing environment and commitment to supporting every child's individual needs. The school has a collaborative team and a strong SEN support ethos, making it a fantastic place to develop your experience.

Your new role

Part-time role - 5 mornings per week
Supporting 2 pupils in Year 4 (1:2 support) who have SSPP and EHCP's
Based within the classroom, with responsibility for taking pupils out for sensory breaks when needed
Opportunity to start ASAP, continuing into September

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE)
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• KS2 experience desirable
• A calm, patient and proactive approach
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
