Salary: £93 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Wickford that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on both short-term and long-term assignments, with full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across either Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2, working closely with class teachers to promote engagement, progress and positive behaviour within the classroom.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
• A reliable and adaptable attitude
