Trafford September Start Full-Time Paid to Scale

Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Trafford that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate English specialist to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of literature and language while supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• Full-time English Teacher position
• Maternity cover starting September
• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement
• Working collaboratively within a supportive English department

• QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
• A passion for raising attainment and supporting student success
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
