School Minibus Driver

Location: Slough

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Contract Type: Full Time

£16 - £18 per hour Depending on experience

We are seeking a reliable and professional School Minibus Driver to join our team in Slough. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and supporting the school’s transport operations during the school day.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport pupils to and from school, trips, and activities

Carry out daily vehicle safety and cleanliness checks

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all passengers at all times

Maintain accurate transport and vehicle records

Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and road traffic regulations

Liaise professionally with school staff, parents, and students

Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptlyRequirements

Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (preferred)

Previous minibus or passenger transport experience desirable

Ideally hold a valid MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) certification

Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service

Good knowledge of local routes in and around Slough

Strong punctuality and reliability

Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)

Friendly, calm, and professional manner with children and staff

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
