Contract: Full-Time (September 2026 – July 2027)

Salary: £38,627 – £52,490 (M3–UPS3)

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher of Religious Education and Geography looking for your next opportunity? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026 until July 2027.

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity to teach across a supportive department, inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential in both Religious Education and Geography.

About the Role

As a Religious Education and Geography Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Religious Education and Geography.

Plan and deliver lessons in line with departmental schemes of work and curriculum objectives.

Monitor, assess, and support student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.

Mark and assess student work accurately and in a timely manner.

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

Experience teaching Religious Education and/or Geography within a secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
