Electrician - Band 7 

Location: South Shields, Tyne and Wear

Contract Type: Temporary

Positions Available: 2

Hours: 37 per week (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rate: £18.85 per hour

Contract Dates: 14 June 2026 - 31 March 2027

We are seeking two experienced and qualified Electricians to join our Facilities Management and Building Services team based in South Shields. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, testing, inspection, and repair work across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.

Essential Qualifications

Craft Certificate in Electrical Installation

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations

Level 3 2391 Testing, Inspection and Certification (or equivalent)

Manual Handling Certificate

Ladder Safety Certificate

Relevant Health & Safety Training Essential Experience

1st and 2nd fix electrical installation

Testing, inspection and maintenance work

Working in occupied and void domestic properties

Use of portable power tools and equipment

Health & Safety, COSHH and Risk Assessments Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Advanced Craft

Solar PV Maintenance Qualification

EV Charger Design and Installation Qualification (2921-31)

PAT Testing Qualification (2377 Level 3) To Apply
